Qualifications/Experience:
High School Diploma/GED and passed ParaPro/Para Educator testing (or 60 college credits) required.
A successful background check is required.

Prefer experience working with children.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Needed:
Patience, flexibility, love for children, confidentiality, teamwork, self-starter, takes direction easily, excellent communication skills, behavior management skills, assist with Special Education students on the Robotics team.

Exemplifies the following Five Character Traits: compassion, respect, responsibility, self-discipline, and honesty. 

Specific Tasks:
Work with students throughout practice and competition assisting with behavior. Refocus the student, de-escalate negative behavior, recognize and acknowledge positive behavior, and work cooperatively with the Robotics coach and other Special Education staff.
